Sea Shanty
Disaster

Co-op party game · 2–6 players · you steer by humming
You do left and right. I'll do up and down.
You're all flying one creature down a tunnel, and nobody has full control of it. Half of you hum the left–right axis. The other half hum up–down. Low note, low. High note, high. That's it.
Walls come at you with one hole in them. Getting through needs both axes right at the same instant. Your note also leaks into the other team's axis, so nobody gets to ignore anybody. There is a band playing. The band is lying to you. You will find out very quickly who cannot hold a note.
What this beta records. How far your crew got, and whether the microphone worked. It also keeps a random code in this browser so we can tell if the same crew came back another day — that is the one thing we actually need to learn. The code is not a name and is not linked to you; clearing your browser data erases it. Never sent: your voice, anyone's name, or room codes. Turn all of it off.
Headphones. You hear everyone's real voice — on speakers it feeds back into your mic and the game starts hearing them instead of you.

STRANGERS

Pick which room you belong in
Kids games never share voices. Only the note you are singing is sent — a single number. There is no audio from anyone else, ever. Names are given out by the game, not typed, so nobody can be called anything unpleasant and no child hands their real name to a stranger.
This is a small beta, so the rooms are often empty. If nobody is about you get a crew of bots and can start straight away — your room stays open, and anyone who turns up joins you between rounds.

YOUR RANGE

Get ready…
Everyone's voice is different. A grown-up and a five-year-old cannot sing the same notes, so the game learns yours and steers on your range instead of one fixed scale.

18+

Adult rooms carry live voice chat with strangers. Confirm you are 18 or over. You can block anyone in the room, and blocks are remembered on this device.

BIG GROUP

For streams, classrooms and parties
The raft only carries six — past that nobody can hear their own note in the mix and it stops being a game. So everyone else queues instead of being turned away.
You get a Next group button. Press it between rounds and the six who just played go to the back of the line while the next six come in — nobody re-enters a code, and you can cycle a whole audience through one raft. Everyone waiting sees their place in the queue.
Voice chat stays on for the six who are playing. Anyone waiting is silent until they are brought in — which is what you want on a stream anyway.

How does this crew make noise?
Humming is easiest. Nothing to read.
